Got The Green Undine finished. We like the way the different sized beads make the hair look kinda reed-like and twisted.

Same spiel; hand Embroidered skin...this time in greens, On green canvas. ;
Green seed beads sewn one at a time for the hair, this time in size 11-20=ultra tiny (think poppy seeds).

Green water nymph. Collaboration between me(MAD) & other me(Erika)

Daily DeviationThe workmanship in Undine wonderful, the design is stunning and the craftmanship in this fiber art is fantastic. *moonbaydesigns has a great sense of depth and details and the monochromatic fibres makes it mesmerizing. The beading in the hair, along with the color and the floating kelp truly creates a feeling of floating in water and catching the light filtered by the sea. I would so love to own this piece! I don't think this could have turned out better. The beading is really special because it reminds me very strongly of how light shines through the green,brown,gold water of ponds and streams. Well done.

yay....*whispering conspiratorially* don't tell anyone, but it was just too serendipitous. Randomly purchased beads off ebay that just were the right ticket when they arrived in the mail.
